We've spent years in finance and technology—building data systems, running analyses, and creating the reports that drive decisions. Octigen is born from that experience.
The tools on the market were either too complex or couldn't produce native PowerPoint. So we built our own.
At Fisch Asset Management, Michel faced a common problem: existing reporting tools were too complex to use and couldn't export to PowerPoint properly. So he built a state-of-the-art reporting system from scratch.
When Kevin joined, he helped push the system further—streamlining workflows and expanding its capabilities. Together, they saw how much value a purpose-built solution could deliver.
That's when the idea for Octigen emerged: a more generic platform that could work for any company, with AI integrated from the ground up.
Meet the founders
Michel is the architect behind Octigen's core engine. With a PhD in high-performance computing and over 15 years of software architecture experience, he's built systems that process millions of data points in milliseconds.
At Fisch Asset Management, Michel led the BI & Reporting team for nearly 5 years—designing data orchestration platforms and document generation systems.
Kevin lived the pain of manual reporting in the front offices of Europe's largest banks. At his previous roles at Credit Suisse Investment Bank and UBS Asset Management, he spent countless hours turning data into client-facing materials.
With dual Master's degrees in Quantitative Techniques and Corporate Finance (with Honours), Kevin combines analytical rigor with a deep understanding of what finance professionals need.
